About the MBA Programs

All three MBA programs cover value-based management for a digital and sustainable future shaped by new technologies such as AI in their respective core modules. Participants of all MBA programs are given the optimal tools to make responsible decisions and develop innovative solutions.

The C-Level Executive MBA offers advanced high-level courses for experienced managers. Learn directly from experienced high-level managers in well-known companies from a variety of sectors as well as from leading figures in academia and research. The study trip takes you to an exciting business location, such as Silicon Valley, Japan or China. The exact destination will be announced around six months before registration. On the study trip, you have the opportunity to exchange ideas with international professionals.

The Professional MBA Marketing & Innovation includes advanced courses designed to enhance your understanding of the needs of customers, use this knowledge in a targeted manner and pave the way for new products, services or processes using innovation. Learn to position yourself successfully in an ever-changing digital landscape.

The Professional MBA Human Resource Management covers everything you need to take on current and future challenges in human resource management: from effectively designing an HR organization to attracting the best employees and sustainably developing them to controlling, performance management and the fundamentals of labor law.

Executive Programs are designed to take three semesters to complete. The courses are held in blocked form and are structured in modules. Curricula and timetables will be available under “Downloads”.

For the C-Level Executive MBA, the topic of master’s thesis can be taken from the subjects specified in one of the modules A to H.

For the Professional MBA Marketing & Innovation and Professional MBA Human Resource Management, the topic of master’s thesis must be taken from one of the specialization modules G.1 or G.2 or has to be meaningfully related to one of these subjects.

Participants in the C-Level Executive MBA program must have completed a relevant bachelor’s degree program worth at least 180 ECTS credit points as well as having at least five years of relevant professional experience, of which at least three years must have been in management responsibility.

In order to make it easier for our program participants to get back into the habit of studying, we offer all students in a UNI for LIFE university training course or a master’s or bachelor’s degree program free access to the UNI for LIFE online seminar Become A Memory Champion. The online seminar comprises around 10 course hours and supports participants with learning videos, interactive elements and a workbook in getting back into active studying. Furthermore, participants learn how to avoid typical mistakes, discover the most effective learning techniques that work best for their style of studying and utilize proven methods to commit new information to memory faster, more effectively and for longer.

The online seminar can already be accessed before the start of the Executive Program (at the earliest from the (extended) registration deadline) and can be completed at any time and anywhere independently. The seminar content remains available throughout the duration of your Executive Program so you can always return to it if needed.

About Payment and Invoices

After registering for an Executive Program, you will be asked to pay the corresponding program fee (either as a lump sum or in installments).
In addition, all students, including non-degree program students, are obliged to pay a fee for the Austrian Students’ Union (ÖH) every semester. The specific amount (which can change per semester) as well as the bank details are listed on your UNIGRAZonline business card once you are successfully enrolled at the university. The fee for the Austrian Students’ Union is processed via the University of Graz, not via UNI for LIFE.

The program fee covers the costs of the courses and seminars. Other additional costs related to program participation, such as for specialist literature, research, theses, excursions, commuting to event locations along with accommodations and meals, must be borne by the participants themselves.
Keep in mind that any further education program can only proceed as planned once it is economically viable, i.e., once enough participants have registered for the specific program.

You will receive the invoice for the program fee about 10 days before the program starts.

The invoice (full amount or first installment) must be paid within 14 days of receipt.

Yes, it is possible to pay the program fee in installments. The first invoice will list the payment terms of all installments.

You will receive this invoice about 10 days before the program start. Do not throw this invoice away! If the costs for participation in an Executive Program are born by a third party, no installment payment is possible.

In such cases, we ask you to fill out the form for cost takeover. You can download this form as part of your registration for the program on our website.

Once the form has been completed either by your employer or the third party, please e-mail your completed form to Ms. Iris Kerschbaumer, MSC, at  iris.kerschbaumer(@)uni-graz.at at the latest 10 days before the program starts. If your program costs are covered by a third party, you will be charged a one-time EUR 30 processing fee as part of the first invoice.

No. Since UNI for LIFE and all of our programs are VAT tax-exempt, the program fee is also VAT tax-exempt.

About Participating in a Continuing Education Program

The details regarding attendance are outlined in the examination regulations of the respective program curriculum. In principle, attendance of at least 80 % of all classes is mandatory. We ask you to inform us in good time in the run-up to the course if you cannot attend.

Missed lesson times (amounting to 20% or more, absent from 3 course units / courses) can be made up for with additional course work after consultation with the lecturer (participants must contact the lecturer themselves).

UNI for LIFE does not have parking facilities on site. You can park your vehicle anywhere in the blue short-term parking zone (parking time: maximum of 3 hours) or in the green parking zone (unlimited parking time) (please observe the blue/green ground markings!).

The closest green parking zone is about a five-minute walk from the UNI for LIFE building. You can buy a parking ticket either from a parking ticket machine or via a mobile app. You can find more information here: Parking Zones Graz

About Completion of a Continuing Education Program

To successfully complete your program, you must pass all courses listed in the respective program curriculum within the listed semester course hours (details outlined in the curriculum) as well as complete the master’s thesis and pass the master examination successfully.

You can only register to take the master’s examination once you have successfully passed all examinations in the curriculum and have received a positive grade for your master’s thesis.

In such cases, please contact +43 316 380 1013 or office(at)uniforlife.at.

About University Programs in General

All study achievements students must complete are worth a certain number of ECTS credit points. These ECTS credit points are relatively proportional to the workload associated with the respective study achievements. One ECTS credit point corresponds to 25 real hours of workload.

This workload includes both self-study time and in-person hours. One in-person hour corresponds to 15 lessons of 45 minutes each. You can find details on the scope of ECTS credit points and in-person hours for your program on our website or in the curriculum of the respective program.

UNI for LIFE is dedicated to offering high-quality continuing education programs and is subject to the provisions of the University of Graz for quality assurance and quality development. Using a comprehensive evaluation model as a starting point, we continuously improve our offerings. In addition, UNI for LIFE is regularly evaluated by an external party to assure quality.

You can find detailed information on the use and storage of your personal data in the privacy policy of UNI for LIFE.
